It's raining today. Tropical Storm Andrea is on her/its way. It's such a peaceful morning and so beautiful. I think I could sit here all day ... not necessarily at the computer, but just here, at home.
It's been such a busy week and we are SO ready for school to be out. Our feet have been flying as we've taken care of end of school activities and church duties. My parents also paid us a visit in the midst of the craziness. I told my mother multiple times, "it's really not this crazy around here." But I'm not sure she believed me;).
They're on their way home from serving a mission in Jacksonville, Florida. They left just in time before Andrea and a tornado visited their area. That's why they left early this morning, to beat the brunt of the storm heading our way.
It was wonderful to have them here. They're on their way to Nauvoo, Illinois, then on to South Dakota to visit my my dad's brother and his wife, who are serving a mission there. Then on to Utah, to see how their home and cat survived over the past 18 months.
I wish I could go with them as far as Nauvoo. But for now Sophie, Joshua and little *Emmanuel and I will sit and enjoy the rain.
(*A little friend we watch occasionally ... chubbiest, cutest little cheeks, legs and arms I've ever seen:))
