Songbird

Sophie's always been affected by music. Whether it's listening to Aretha Franklin or 80's ballads, she pays attention.

Her latest thing has been to sing at the top of her lungs, which sometimes sounds like she's screaming. Then she'll stop and laugh.

Tonight as I was putting her to bed she was singing:

"Do AS I'm doing,
pollow, pollow me"

The emphasis is definitely on the 'as', and it's pretty funny. It took a little longer than normal to go to bed because she kept singing over and over, without seeming to tire. But it was cute and worth the extra 10 minutes.

A singer in the making, huh? I love it when Steve is gone, and I don't have to stress about cooking. Your menu sounded delicious!
